Artichokes #5 and #6
True to the count, we ate 5 and 6 and they were tasty. We'll see if we hit 20, which was my estimate of harvest bounty....more soon on tomatoes..they are getting strong and closer to ready for planting in the great outdoors.
I live in central Berkeley in the Bay Area of California. I am committed to local and organic food, and what's more local than my backyard?! What I can't grow (a lot of things), I buy at farmer's markets when I can.

A post about artichokes with no photos?
Rooster, I'm so jealous. We haven't had any luck with the 'chokes over here in SF.
